Editor’s Note (2025 Update):

Since this post was first published, VidDay has continued its reforestation journey. We’re now working with Veritree, and you can explore our live progress on the VidDay Impact Hub. This post has been left as originally written to celebrate an important part of our history.

We care deeply about the planet and creating a business that gives back to nature.

While VidDay helps people reduce their carbon footprint by offering an eco-friendly gift, it's great to have another way to help the environment.

Every video you create helps to plant trees.

Sustainability is at the core of our business, making working with One Tree Planted an excellent fit for VidDay.

The objectives of this partnership include:

  • Supporting global reforestation efforts

  • Empowering our customers with sustainable actions

  • Raising awareness about the importance of ecosystem restoration

Planting trees helps to combat the damaging effects of climate change. In addition, trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80 percent of the world's terrestrial biodiversity. Trees also offer enormous social impacts by providing jobs to over 1.6 billion people, empowering women in underdeveloped nations, and supporting communities devastated by environmental damage.

The partnership is simple for customers to get involved in global reforestation.

We donate a portion of our net proceeds to planting trees in British Columbia, California, Australia, and the Amazon Rainforest. That means that for every video gift you create, you're helping to plant trees and restore the world's forests.

The trees are planted by local partner organizations and community volunteers in areas with deforestation.

VidDay has Already Planted Over 100,000 Trees!

Thanks to our partnership with One Tree Planted and the support of all of you! We couldn't have done it without you.

So how did VidDay plant 100,000 trees?

Take a look to see how we did it!
