Whether you're going for joyful and upbeat or sentimental and slow, background music helps set the tone for the whole experience — and it's easy to add your own musical touch in just a few steps.

Here's how to add music to your VidDay and make it truly memorable.

Start from your Event Page and click the Customize card.

This opens up your customization options — including where you'll add your background music.

Click Add Song and choose how you want to add music:

Option 1: Pick from the Music Library

VidDay's built-in music library includes royalty-free tracks for every mood and moment — birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, and more.

• Click the play button to preview songs
• Add your favorites to your playlist with one click

Option 2: Upload Your Own Track

Want to use a special song or personal favorite?

Upload your own audio file (like an MP3) and it will appear in your playlist.

After adding songs, you can:

• Reorder tracks by dragging and dropping
• Set your starting song by placing it at the top
• Let your playlist loop — it will automatically repeat if your video is longer than your music selection

No need to worry about awkward silences — VidDay keeps your soundtrack going smoothly until the video ends.

Some video clips may already have their own sound — like someone singing or giving a heartfelt message. In these moments, you may want the background music to fade out.

Here's how to adjust it:

• Click any media thumbnail in your gallery
• In the Edit View, toggle the Background Music option to mute or fade music for that specific clip or photo

This gives you full control over when music plays — and when to let the message shine on its own.

And that's it! Your VidDay video now has a personalized music track that enhances the emotion, energy, and flow — perfect for celebrating any occasion.
