Apple is usually known for it's simplicity, but unfortunately this isn't the case this time. Apple does not let you dowload videos from the internet to your iPhone or iPad. You can only download videos to your Apple laptop or desktop computer. But, there is a workaround if you're feeling brave. You can follow this tutorial which walks you through downloading an app that allows you to download videos from the internet to your iPhone or iPad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCLbQVGo5bo Here's a summary of the tutorial: 1. Download app called "Documents by Readdle". Once you've opened the app, click the Safari icon in the bottom right corner. 2. Copy and paste the event link. You'll need to log in to your VidDay account to view the event page as the creator of the video montage. 3. Click the download button (make sure you're not of WiFi as it'll eat up your data). 4. Once the video has been downloaded, click the menu button (the three blue dots). Click the share button and save video. That's it!

As the creator, the one who started the video montage, you can edit the event details from the event page. Look for the “Edit Event Details” button under the due date.

Share the event page link by email, text message, Messenger, WhatsApp or however which way works best for you. A pre-written message is ready for you when you invite people by text message, WhatsApp or email. This message includes who the video montage is for, what the occasion is, when the deadline for submissions are and the event link to submit their videos/photos. You have full control to edit or delete this message in order to write your own invite message.

Yes, we use a carefully selected licensed instrumental song that perfectly compliments video messages while keeping the focus on the video messages.

If you have access to WiFi, you can plug the projector to your laptop and play the video montage from the event page. Or, you can download the video montage from the event page in order to put it onto a memory stick and not rely on WiFi. You will need to consult with operator of the projector as each projector is different in their own little way.

The video montages you’ve started are found on your dashboard when logged in to your VidDay account.

As the creator, the one who started the video montage, you can preview, edit or delete all video and photo submissions.

The order goes from top to bottom which means the first video/photo on the event page will be first video/photo to appear in the video montage.

At first, you are the only one who can view the final video montage from the event page. An email notification is sent to you when the final video is ready. You then have the option to unlock the video montage from the toggle under the video to make the video public to share it with other people.

This event page can be found on your dashboard when you’re logged into your VidDay account. Next, you can add videos/photos and share the event page link with other people so that they can submit their videos/photos. Once all submissions are in, click the publish button and the VidDay team makes the video montage for you. When the video montage is ready, you’ll be notified by email and the video montage will appear on the event page. From there, you can share it online and download it as a keepsake.
