Yes — your **birthday video is private by default**. Only you (the creator) can see the finished video when logged in to your VidDay account **until you change the privacy setting** to share it with others.

When you choose to make it viewable, invitees and recipients can **watch and share the video**. You can also keep it private by sharing it **only with the recipient**, who can then view their video, record a thank-you message, and claim their gift card if included.

**Note:** The **cover photo** you upload and the **invite message** are visible to others in the invitations you send.
